A refreshing, winter-green, herbal face mask, delicately scented with aromatic botanical oils of peppermint, menthol, and eucalyptus. Alpha and beta hydroxy acids (3%) provide gentle exfoliation while antiseptic herbs and skin calming botanicals soothe troubled skin.

This creamy, kaolin clay mask dries on the skin without flaking or cracking while gently lifting loosened flakes of skin to help create a gleaming, silky smooth complexion.

Anti-microbial, antiseptic and healing qualities in botanical extracts of rosemary, peppermint and echinacea help promote a clear, fresh, radiant complexion.

Regular use will enhance the exfoliation process implemented by other formulations in the Betaplex line.

Directions for use

Use once a week.

Cleanse and tone the skin, then apply an ample amount of Clear Complexion Mask to your finger tips.

Gently smooth the creamy formulation all over your face down to your jawline. Totally avoid eye area, hair line, eyebrows and lips. Apply enough mask so that the skin no longer shows through. You will feel a cooling, stimulating sensation when you apply the mask

Relax for 15—30 minutes to fully benefit from the therapeutic peppermint and eucalyptus aroma. Please note this mask will dry to the touch but not harden.

Rinse with warm water and face cloth (keep eyes tightly closed), and pat dry. You will notice that your skin will appear momentarily flushed due to the stimulating effects of the herbal ingredients. This blush will disappear within a minute or two. Apply moisturizer if required.

Ingredients

Glycolic acid
A naturally occurring alpha hydroxy acid found in sugar-cane and fruit.

Salicilic acid
Naturally occurring beta hydroxy acid found in willow bark.

Peppermint
An excellent anti-inflammatory to help reduce redness while the menthol constituent produces a soothing, cooling effect on the skin.

Rosemary
Traditionally used to treat problem skin, this antiseptic oil helps to stimulate increase blood supply to the surface of the skin.

Green tea
Referred to in fifth-century China as “froth of the liquid jade” because of its beauty and skin health giving properties to its powerful, anti-oxidant phytochemicals, also know as catachins.

Olive leaf extract
Rich in oleuropein, a plant compound that has been proven to be beneficial in improving certain skin and connective tissue disorders.
