Rusk hair products are top salon quality. All of their brand lines are wonderful, I have two favorites: the Thickr brand for hair that needs volume and strength and the Sensories brand which uses botanical ingredients. - A Professionals Review, by Jennifer Coy, Cosmetologist and Salon Owner

Sensories uses natural botanical ingredients, but has created what they call a totally new chemistry, CFT, or Compressed Formula Technology. Compressed during their formulation, Rusk Sensories expand with a little water and gentle manipulation, transforming their physical appearance while releasing their provocative botanical/ozonic aromas. It is an irresistible sensory experience. You will use 30% - 50% less product to get the performance you need. I love the Green Tea & Alfalfa which will lightly moisturize, strengthen, and shine. This shampoo also has purifiers to assist in the removal of metallic salts and styling product build-up. My teen-age daughter is a swimmer and has abused her hair with chemicals and heat. I have her use the Healthy Blackberry & Bergamot shampoo because it strengthens the damaged hair and leaves in shining - plus she loves the aroma! I also have her use the Sensories Wellness Heal Restorative Repair Drops weekly.

When I recommend a volume shampoo, it is usually Risk Thickr products. Using the shampoo, conditioner, and thickening volumizer will add strength, lift, and texture. These products plump up the hair cuticle and each hair strand appears thicker.

Styling Tools from Rusk are exceptional. The Go Green STR8 one-inch flat iron is terrific and worth the price. Its "intelligent technology" saves energy by signaling it to reduce heat when not in use. It quickly returns to the previous operating temperature with motion. The "hibernate" mode begins after 10 minutes of idle time. Heat resumes operating temperature within seconds. Petroleum-free coating on the straightening plates reduces oil consumption, and the housing is unpainted to further help prevent pollution. Even the packaging goes green - it's made with 100% recycled materials and printed with soy ink. The Go Green Hair Dryer uses 26% less energy other dryers with the same strong air pressure and fast air flow.
